IMRF retirees under age 65 who reside in Illinois are eligible to enroll in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois – Under 65 Plans. Various deductibles and plan design options are available.
Under 65 Plan Overview:
- Available to retirees and/or their family members under age 65 residing in Illinois
- Plans are individually rated based on your location, sex, age and smoking status as well as plan design
- Medical underwriting is required and, if approved, you are subject to a pre-existing condition waiting period.
